A variety of free preventive dental services for eligible children and youth 17 years of age and younger are provided by the Haliburton Kawartha Pineridge Health Unit.

Port Hope Community Health Centre dental team which includes dentists, hygienists and dental assistants, provide dental care 5 days per week to those who cannot access care due to financial hardship such as those receiving Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support and those with a low annual income who do not have access to dental benefits. Those who do not have a dentist and have not been able to obtain necessary dental care due to financial limitations can call the PHNCHC to arrange for an appointment. 905-885-2626 ext. 208.
