Senior Support Program
The Help Centre’s Senior Support Program can assist you in accessing community services relating to health, wellness and finances to improve your quality of life, and to help you remain self-sufficient.
Our Senior Support Worker will assist and support you with:
- Navigating the social service system
- Reviewing your income and creating a monthly budget
- Attending medical appointments with you, and advocating for you with your doctors
- Completing all kinds of government forms
- Picking up and delivering documents during tax season, and other important documents
- Providing grocery cards, and helping with grocery delivery
- Giving you the tools to become stable and have access to food, affordable housing and/or shelter, remain housed, get assistance in obtaining income security and obtain support, referrals and advocacy with other community services.
